We stay in the accommodation that is available in each place that we visit.
NIGHT 1 – Hogsback - Book in on Saturday 27th April
Arrive early and have some time to explore the Village or try a Cycle Roots Single Track Trail (Email neelsdutoit78@gmail.com)
In Hogsback - Saturday Night 27th April and Tuesday Night 30th April - a little bit of luxury to start and to finish - there is a wide range of self-catering cottages. We have arranged a package deal with the various establishments that provides a single rate per person for our SlowRiding® visitors. The earlier you book the wider the choice. We just want to know whether you are a couple, friends, or by yourself. We will then try and match up the beds to the bodies and the bookings. http://www.hogsbackinfo.co.za
NIGHT 2 - Thomas River - Sunday Night 28th April - accommodation is shared over the historic old Station Master’s and Station Foreman’s Houses. These properties consist of 7 rooms in total with a capacity for 26 people. More accommodation is available in the dormitory style Hiking Hut, housed in the Old Post Office. Here there is space for 16 people in single and double, triple story bunks. There is also a camping option (we supply the tents and camper beds) with two ablution blocks. By now you have met your fellow Slow Riders – we’ll give you a bed no. but you are free to find your friends and swop around as you prefer.
NIGHT 3 - Cata – Monday Night 29th April - we will be sleeping in a tent village – once again, we’ll give you a no. but you are free to find your friends and swop around as you prefer.
